What is Foot Reflexology?

This non-invasive, touch therapy is based on the theory that different points on the feet correspond with different areas of the body. Reflexology combined with gentle foot massage, promotes deep relaxation and stimulates the body’s natural ability to self-heal, rebalancing the body.

Reflexology has been shown to be effective at bringing down anxiety levels and reducing the stress response in a natural and healthy way.

We are all unique and each person’s experience will be very different, so why not try foot reflexology for yourself?

The healing benefits of reflexology may include:

  • Inducing a deep relaxation

  • Reduction of stress levels

  • Improving sleep

  • Improving your circulation

  • Increasing your immunity

  • Easing pain

  • Stimulating your digestion

  • Elimination of toxins

  • Rebalancing hormones at every life stage (PMS, Menopause)

  • Assisting with fertility for both men and women

What to expect from your session:

Allow 1hour 10minutes for your first appointment, which includes time to complete a health/lifestyle questionnaire (unless you have previously completed one with me) and aftercare advice. Subsequent treatments require a 1hour time allocation. A taster treatment is also available upon request.

Reflexology treatments should be a minimum of one week apart, most client’s book fortnightly or monthly treatments. However, if we find a specific condition that responds well to reflexology, weekly sessions for 4-6 weeks have proven beneficial.

Hand Reflexology, Lymphatic Reflexology and/or Auricular (Ear) Reflexology may be offered to enhance the foot work.

How much does it cost?

£55 per treatment - discounts apply for regular treatment bookings.

This treatment can be booked together with other treatments, for example, facial reflexology, reflexology lymph drainage - ask me when you book.

Kaye has magic hands when it comes to reflexology! I have been three times now and she is so easy to talk to, incredibly friendly and highly knowledgeable about her profession. She puts you at ease with her words, and then deeply relaxes you with her hands. She always tries to get to the bottom of an issue, so if you tell her that a specific area of your foot is tender, she will work to alleviate that. As I say, magic hands!
